Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had some mixed aspects. The rooms were relaxing and well-equipped, but could benefit from a quick paint refresh. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, resolving any issues promptly. The location was convenient with a big car park, though noise from nearby rooms was a downside. The dining options were good overall, but some breakfast items were missing. Overall, it offers a great stay with a few areas for improvement.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were uncomfortably hot, and there was a persistent unpleasant smell. However, the hotel staff were doing their best to maintain cleanliness despite the challenges. The location was convenient, with excellent gym and pool facilities, although the room cleanliness was lacking. The dining experience was underwhelming, with some pressure on the staff evident. Overall, the hotel offered good value for money.
The hotel is located in a convenient spot for visiting family in North Shields or heading to the coast or Newcastle. While the rooms were spacious and equipped with a fan/heater and large TV, the lack of soundproofing can be disturbing, especially for families with younger children struggling to sleep early.
